I had an oil change appointment at two so I got there at 1:30 to be early, I didn���t take my truck back till after 230 and I didn���t get out of there till almost 4. Total nonsense, I will never be bringing my truck back there for an oil change again!
I had a problem and discussed it with the service manager. I discovered that I had had the same service not that long before having it again. The Manager helped me and apologized for not recognizing that it had been done not long ago. She credited my credit card and all is now well. I feel much better and will continue to be a customer moving forward
I initially had an appointment scheduled at 1:00 PM on 8/18/20. The issue was identified and I was advised that it would be a four hour job to make the repair and that it could not be done on Tuesday 8/18. I needed the car back for Wednesday 8/19. Scott did offer me a no charge loaner car which I declined because I needed the truck to move a large piece of furniture. So we agreed that I would have at Fred's at 8:00 Am on 8/20. I dropped the car off the evening of 8/19 around 9:30 PM. My car was not brought into the shop until the afternoon and I was told the car would not be ready because of another car delayed my car to get into the service Que. The car was finished on Friday afternoon at 4:30 PM. Not a huge deal but I wished it was completed on Thursday as we decided on Tuesday. Scott did offer me a $25.00 discount off my service bill. Lastly it seems I always have to ask Scott if my insurance, Resource, that I purchased from Fred Beans when I bought the car new in November of 2017, applied to any of the repairs. Then he will look into each case and see if the insurance applies. It seems to me that there should be some kind of flag indicating that my car is covered by the insurance and Scott could proactively tell me that certain parts of the repair are covered or they aren't. It is a suggestion...
I've learned that everything is my fault and the customer is an idiot at Fred Beans Chevrolet. If the screw was not placed on the wheel since day one when I bought it, I am "alleging" this, it is all a figment of my imagination. Picture doesn't matter. If there is a scratch on window that I did not notice before, I am nuts and there is no way you guys could have done it. Got it!
The service people are fantastic. Ken who took care of me understood the problem and handled it in a very professional way. Problem was resolved on time. The rental car provided was great. I would definitely come back to this dealership. The 30 mile ride it took me to get there was well worth it.
