Chevy Blazer vs. Ford Edge

Each of these vehicles sits on 18-inch aluminum wheels and has LED Daytime Running Lamps and LED taillamps.

The exterior of the Blazer features a signature Black horizontal 4-bar grille that brings a more stylish touch to the design compared to the bright grille of the Ford Edge. It also comes standard with heated power outside mirrors, while the 2019 Edge does not.

There are also various unique designs across the trim levels of the 2019 Blazer, each one matching the different personalities of drivers. The muscular stance of the Blazer has the luxurious Premier trim level that features elegant chrome accents. The RS stands out with its custom black mesh grille, 20-inch Dark Android machined-face aluminum wheels, performance-inspired front air dam, and black bowtie emblem.

With the Ford Edge, each trim level has a very similar universal look with not many cosmetic changes to the exterior.

The Ford Edge comes with SYNC®, which will allow you to stream audio from your phone through the vehicle hands-free with Bluetooth® technology.

With the 2019 Blazer, you'll get the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System. This system will also give you the ability of audio streaming via Bluetooth®. It also has Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.

These features will give you access to your favorite apps and other functions of your smartphone. You'll be able to send and receive text messages, choose your entertainment, get directions, and more, all through voice-activated commands.

The 2019 Edge offers these features, but they aren't standard and only available in higher trim levels.

When you're driving around in the 2019 Chevy Blazer, you'll be able to comfortably enjoy your ride for however long the duration is. The dual-zone automatic climate control will automatically maintain the temperature that you and your front passenger each select.

The climate control system in the Edge is a manual single zone, which won't give you and your front passenger the capability of having individual settings to accommodate the temperature to each of your preferred liking.

The 2019 Edge and 2019 Blazer will give you the ability to adjust the steering wheel up or down, and the column forward or back, to have it at a position that's comfortable for you. They'll both also have the convenience of starting the engine with just the push of a button.

Another great feature that comes with the Chevy Blazer is the Rear Seat Reminder. This is helpful since it'll remind you to check the back seats and make sure you haven't forgotten anything before exiting the car. The 2019 Ford Edge doesn't have this feature.
